Journalists from the prestigious American magazine Wine Spectator have, during the course of 2004, tasted some 12,000 wines from all the wine-producing countries, and in the 31st December 2004 edition they published their list of the top 100.
17 were the Italian wines selected, among which 4 from Piedmont. To draw up this list the experts carefully evaluated: quality, value and market distribution, as well as an X-factor that might be defined as an individual wine's charm. |
