Held at the Grosvenor Hotel, Park Lane, London, and attended by Wine Royalty from all over the globe, the world's most prestigious wine competition and awards celebrated the years success's in style. A large part of the IWC's reputation is down to the quality and experience of its judges. This year, more than 465 winemakers, merchants and writers from around the world took part, including the likes of Oz Clarke and Jancis Robinson MW alongside a panel of more than 40 Masters of Wine.
From the 9,358 wines entered into the International Wine Challenge, we are really proud to announce that: MONTEMARETO COUNTACC! 2004 won the Italian Red Trophy - Piedmont Trophy as the best red wine from Piedmont among the ones tasted by the panels.
