Variety: Albarossa 100%
Vineyard: La Serra, in Montaldo Scarampi.
Vinification: It takes place in stain-less steal, the maceration with the skins is 12 days long.
Refinement: For at least 12 months in Allier barrels of 50 hl. Afterwards minimum 6 months in bottle.
CHARACTERISTICS
Colour: Intense ruby red, with purple hints.
Aroma: Ample, with black fruits flavours (raspberries and blackberries), together with floral scents (rose and violet).
Taste: Quite powerful wine, rich but with a fresh acidity. Finish lingers with fine tannins, exceptionally long length.
DEVELOPMENT: It ages very well up to 10 years.
SERVING: 17°/18°C (63/ 65 F°)
PAIRINGS: White and red meat, mid aged cheeses.
