Barolo DOCG

Colour: garnet red, amazing intensity and depth.

Bouquet: fascinating, ethereal, complex. Typical notes of liquorice, sweet tobacco berries and delicate spices, together with black plums marmalade.

Taste: ample, harmonious, with a great structure and pleasant length. In the aftertaste are confirmed all the hints of the bouquet.

Longevity: already open and harmonious after 5-6 years, it continues developing extraordinarily well for up to 15-20 years, maintaining for a long time the features acquired.
Serving temperature: 18- 19 °C

Vineyard:

Vine : Nebbiolo 100%
Vine training method : Guyot

Area of provenance : communes of La Morra-Barolo , where there are lands of Tortonian geological origin
Height a.s.l .: 280- 320 metres
Soil:
calcareous marl of Tortonian origin, basic pH, poor in organic substances
but rich in microelements, magnesium and manganese.
Rootstocks per hectare: 4500

Yield per rootstock: 1.5 kg .
Harvest period
normally from 8 to 13 October
Fermentation: 15 days in contact with the skins, at 28-30° C.
Maturation:
2 years in 50 – hl oak barrels
Refinement :
24 months in bottle
Alcohol content: 13,5 – 14°
